In the heart of the classic Valpolicella area, more precisely in the municipality of Marano, the Vaona family has always been dedicated to the production of Valpolicella wines, respecting the ancient values ​​that characterize the winery.

The recently renovated wine cellar is part of a building complex built in the mid-17th century. For generations, the whole family has passionately dedicated itself, day after day, to the production of RECIOTO and AMARONE from Valpolicella.

The vineyards owned by Vaona cover approximately 10 hectares and are characterized by an excellent sunny location, predominantly in a hilly area at an average altitude of approximately 200 m above sea level. d. Mouse. Fertile soils ideal for the production of the well-known and popular wines AMARONE and RECIOTO from Valpolicella. The following vine training systems are used: Pergola from Verona and, in the flat zones, the low trellis system (Guyot). This system favors a smaller quantity but better quality production.
